My work requires me to be transported by van and dropped off then pickup later. I leave my netbook in the van while out doing my job. My concern was my netbook would get stepped on while I was working. I needed something with a hard cover. Everything that I found was extremely expensive. I love this product because it fits my needs and isn't extremely expensive. I would have loved a lock but it does give a place to attach a pad lock. It's bigger then what I needed but found that it works fine so I can bring other attachments like a portable drive and not have to worry about it being stepped on either.
